2 years ago, on December 28, 2017, the First WFL Meeting was held, which adopted the Mission Statement (Programme), which is valid also today. At that time, there were only about 7 members in the WFL.

2 years have passed. Now the number of WFL members has increased significantly. Regional primary organizations were created in Riga, Liepaja and the cities of Latgale. Work with the population has been established. WFL representatives spoke at various rallies. A website and social media pages are maintained, where quality materials are regularly and often published in three languages. The activists compaign in protests, help workers in the collective struggle for decent life and work, organize Marxist studies, and strengthen ties with foreign Marxist organizations. Geographical Society “Spilve” organizes trips to visit museums and sightseeings, to get to know our country more closely. Work is underway to prepare a full-fledged new Mission Statement (Programme). All this is done without any outside help, independently, at the expense of voluntary membership fees.

Working Front has a unique function – it unites the working class and the working intelligentsia in the struggle against the rule of the bourgeoisie.

Some statistics:

• Over two years, the number of active WFL members has increased by more than 4 times, and the number of workers in the organization is growing faster than the number of representatives of other classes;
• About 4.5 thousand people visit stradnieki.org monthly;
• The number of WFL subscribers on our pages in social networks is about 3,500.

As you can see, these two years were not in vain.

Statistics show that the Worker’s Front has a large number of sympathizers who regularly show interest in the organization’s news. If you are one of these people, then today we are turning to you! Maybe it’s time to stop sitting at home and reading publications? Maybe it’s time to make yourself useful for the benefit of the working people, or at least find helpers in the fight against the employer, and even with the bourgeoisie as a whole?
