203 years ago, on May 5, 1818, in the city of Trier, Karl Marx was born – the greatest thinker, public figure, revolutionary, one of the founders of Marxism-Leninism, especially proletarian political economy.

By reworking with his powerful mind the knowledge accumulated by mankind, primarily in philosophy and political economy, Karl Marx together with Friedrich Engels refined the ideas of socialism, revealed the objective laws on the basis of which social development is accomplished, thus transformed socialism from utopian to scientific and armed the proletariat with a revolutionary theory of struggle for the construction of a classless society.
